In short: this website has no chatbots or AI systems that interact with you or make decisions about you. Your registration data is not used to train AI models. When we use AI as a support tool, there is always human review and we say so.
1. Our commitment
Genivs promotes impact investment based on transparency and accountability. We apply the same standards to our use of artificial intelligence (AI): we only use it as a support tool, under human supervision, and we explain clearly when and how it is involved.
2. Use of AI on this website
- Development: AI-based assistance tools were used in the design, coding and translation of this website. All code, text and event information have been reviewed and validated by members of the Genivs team, who are responsible for its content.
- No automated interaction: the website does not include chatbots, virtual assistants, recommendation systems or any other AI system that interacts with visitors.
- Form: registrations are processed using conventional validation rules. AI is not used to assess, score, select or profile registrants. In-person places are allocated in order of registration.
3. AI-generated or edited content
The photographs of the speakers and of Palau Macaya are real images. Some decorative graphics or illustrations of the city may have been created or retouched with generative AI tools; they never depict real people or events that did not happen. If in the future we publish AI-generated or manipulated images, audio or video that could appear authentic, we will expressly label them as such.
4. Your personal data and AI
- We do not use your registration data to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, nor do we share it with third parties for that purpose.
- We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (Art. 22 GDPR).
- Should a provider processing data on our behalf ever use AI features, it would do so as a processor, under a contract compliant with Art. 28 GDPR and with an express prohibition on using your data for its own purposes.
5. AI during and after the event
Genivs may use AI tools to support production tasks, such as automatic transcription or subtitling of the recording to improve accessibility, or drafting summaries and press releases. In all cases:
- Outputs are reviewed by people before publication.
- No facial recognition or biometric identification of attendees will be used.
- No synthetic images, voices or videos imitating speakers or attendees will be generated.
- Automatic subtitles will be labelled as such.

7. Regulatory framework
This policy is informed by Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence (in particular the transparency obligations of Article 50), the General Data Protection Regulation and Spanish data protection law. None of the uses described constitutes a high-risk AI system or a prohibited practice under that Regulation.
