On this website we only ask for the data needed to manage your registration for the event “Social housing and impact investment” (14 October 2026, Palau Macaya, Barcelona). We do not sell your data, we do not use it for third-party advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.

This policy applies to data collected through this event website and during the event, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we process

Registration form

  • Identification and contact: first name, last name, email address and, optionally, phone number.
  • Professional data: organisation, job title, professional profile and, for press, media outlet.
  • Attendance data: in-person attendance at the event and the cocktail reception.
  • Accessibility needs or allergies (optional): only if you choose to provide them, so we can assist you properly. If they include health information, we will process it with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), solely for that purpose, and delete it after the event.
  • Consent record: date and time, version of the policy accepted, registration language and a pseudonymised technical identifier (hash) of the connection, used to prevent abuse.

Browsing

The server may log technical data (IP address, browser, date and time) for security purposes. For cookies and local storage, see the cookie policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory; if you do not provide them, we will not be able to process your registration.

4. Images and recording

The event will be photographed and recorded by the Genivs audiovisual team. Images may be published on the Genivs website and social media, in an online photo gallery, and shared with the media and participating organisations for the purpose of publicising the event.

  • Shots will focus on the stage, the speakers and wide shots of the audience. The group photo is voluntary.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest in publicising an institutional event of public relevance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and the provisions of Spanish Organic Law 1/1982 on incidental images at public events.
  • If you do not wish to appear in close-up shots, please say so in your accreditation or to the production team in the room; we will direct you to an area outside the main shot. Once published, you may also request the removal of an image in which you are clearly identifiable by writing to info@genivsbarcelona4impact.com.

5. Retention period

  • Registration data: up to 12 months after the event, to manage event follow-up; it is then deleted or anonymised for statistical purposes.
  • Accessibility needs or allergies: deleted within 30 days after the event.
  • Marketing communications: until you withdraw your consent.
  • Proof of consent: for the limitation period of any possible legal liabilities.
  • Images and recording: for as long as they are kept as a historical and institutional record of the event, unless you exercise your right to erasure or to object.

6. Recipients

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless legally required. The following may have access to it:

  • Fundació «la Caixa» / Palau Macaya, as the venue, which may receive the list of in-person attendees (name, organisation) for access control and building security.
  • Service providers (web hosting, email, audiovisual production), acting as processors under a contract compliant with Art. 28 GDPR.
  • The public and the media, solely in relation to the event images described in section 4.

7. International transfers

Form data is hosted on servers located in the European Economic Area. Google Maps is provided by Google, which may process data outside the EEA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The map only loads on this website if you give your consent in the cookie banner.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing), by writing to info@genivsbarcelona4impact.com with the subject “Data protection” and stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), storage in a protected, non-public directory, access restricted to organising staff, anti-spam filters without third-party services, and data minimisation. Fonts are served from our own server, with no connections to Google Fonts.

10. Minors

The event is aimed at professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to the event itself. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
